Jessica is a writer, artist and developer working toward a PhD in Psychology with a Media concentration. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing with undergraduate degrees in both Information Technology and Anthropology. She currently lives and works in the DC area.

Sonja Solomun

Assistant Editor

Sonja Solomun is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Communication Studies at McGill University. She holds a BA and an MA in Sociology – with a particular focus on Cultural Memory and New Media Studies. She has previously written on archival memory and the sociology of metaphors. Her dissertation is concerned with the mutual reciprocity of cultural conventions and practices of memory-making and digital image circulation by photographic technologies. She currently works in research and is an active photographer residing in Montreal.

Marie is a writer and website editor based in Chicago. She earned her BA in English literature with a minor in art history from Swarthmore College, and holds an MFA from the University of Iowa and a Masters in the Humanities from the University of Chicago. She has written for Windy City Reviews and Colloquium, and is working on a novel.

Alisa has worked as a feature writer and editor on the staff of three magazines and, more recently, as a financial services marketing writer. She earned an M.F.A. from Vermont College and has developed and taught adult education classes in fiction, memoir, and essay writing near her home in Medford, Massachusetts. Her work has appeared in AGNI Online, Calyx, Cimarron Review, Concho River Review, The Legendary, Pisgah Review, Red Cedar Review, Reed Magazine, Schuykill Valley Journal, and The Prentice-Hall Reader, 11th Edition.
